Dr Arpad Bata, the founder and owner of Dr Bata Ltd was invited to give a lecture at Sichuan Agricultural University in Chengdu, China on 11 January 2019.
Sichuan Agricultural University is a national university reputed in biotechnology, advance in agricultural science and technology, master in multi-disciplinary studies and is the key national double-class construction university coordinating and involving in the development of the "211 Project". It is also graded as an excellent undergraduate university by the Ministry of Education. The university has three campuses in Ya'an, Chengdu and Dujiangyan. Its Agricultural and Forestry Colleges ranked 7th and 4th in the national and Sichuan province level. Since 2015, the ESI rankings in the discipline of agricultural science, botany and zoology have remained consistent in the top 1% of the world. In 2017, its Animal Nutrition and Feeding Science and in 2018, Crop Science were selected into Innovation and Enlightenment Program (Project 111) by the National Institute of Higher Education.
The Animal Nutrition Institute of Sichuan Agricultural University organised the event of “Commemoration of the Centenary of Professor Feng Yang’s birthday and International Academic and Technological Conference on Anti-Disease Nutrition.”
This invitation was great honor for Dr Bata Ltd, where Dr Arpad Bata got the possibility to share his 30 years scientific experiences about the present and future of mycotoxins. The satisfied audience were able to listen Dr Arpad Bata summarization about the toxic agent types, the past and present of the mycotoxin science. He spoke also about the possibilities of defence against the harmful effect of mycotoxins.
This event was a good opportunity to introduce himself as the owner of our brand new company in China, Dr.Bata BV Science (Guangzhou) Co., Ltd.
On the same trip to China, Dr Arpad Bata also accepted invitation to give a lecture on mycotoxins at the Hunan Agricultural University, a key provincial university in People’s Republic of China.
