The Dr. Bata Ltd. won 318.66 million HUF non-refundable funding on the project “Funding for market-oriented research and development”. The investment budget of 480.33 million HUF helped to develop a complex, biotechnology based, acid-resistant, protected NSP enzymproduct development of probiotic effect. Throughout this project the solution was found for the economical and environment friendly treatment and utilization of biological, rich in fiber by-products.

In the framework of the Central Hungarian Operational Program, the Dr BATA Hungarian Canadian Biotechnology Research Development Ltd. was awarded 115 million HUF in support of the project "Support for Enterprise Innovation". In the framework of the project, we applied for the development of a herbal combination-based product family against digestive diseases in pigs and help for the market access of the developed product. The total budget of the project was 255.56 million HUF.

Putting together Dr Bata Co. R+D technologies in Europe, with those from Vetanco S.A. in the Americas, a global company is launched: BV Science.

The strtegic partner of Dr Bata Ltd, the Vetanco S.A. took apart on IPPE (International Production & Processing Expo) as an exhibitor in Atlanta –USA. On a symposim prior the expo Ms Zsofia Bata took a presentation with the topic of: "Intestinal microflora stabilization with combining prebiotic effect and antimicrobial properties of herbal plant extracts"

Traditionally this year in March the VIV Asia Exhibition and conference were organized in Bangkok. The feed expert of Dr Bata Ltd, Dr Jozsef Gyenis was asked for a lecture with the title of “Heroic fight against Gram positive bacteria in the poultry industry”

Dr Bata Ltd. -as every event at the last 25 years- participated in the biggest animal husbandry exhibition, EuroTier. Every present, and future partners are warmly welcome for a refreshment and for a little conversation around the animal health challenges and future possibilities.

This year, as it was every time from 1996, the Dr Bata participated as an exhibitor on the biggest trade fair of animal live-stocks in the world, on EuroTier, Hannover, Germany.

The Dr Bata sales team spent a very useful and successful week in Malaysia in December. The aim of this trip was to introduce the market our phytobiotic-prebiotic combination called HERBANOPLEX CP.
